William Larue Weller

Uncut and unfiltered, this hand-bottled bourbon is barrel proof. Weller substitutes wheat for the traditional rye grain, a production method pioneered by W.L. Weller.

Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old

Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old at bottling has flavours of oak, caramel and dark chocolate, with a finish of coffee, black pepper and cherries. It is bottled at 45% ABV.

Eagle Rare 17 Year Old

Eagle Rare 17 Year Old release is part of the antique collection and bottled at 50.5% ABV. This limited edition release has a nose of ripe cherries, vanilla cream and oak, followed by a taste of caramel and coffee and a long finish of oak, pepper and fresh herbs.

2024 Buffalo Trace Prohibition Set

A five-bottle collection of whiskeys that honors the spirits legally produced at the distillery during Prohibition. The collection, set to launch in October, is a recreation of five Prohibition-era whiskeys that have, until now, been lost to time: Old Stagg, Golden Wedding, Three Features, Walnut Hill, and George T. Stagg Spiritus Frumenti.

From 1920 to 1933, the production, sale and transportation of alcohol was banned in the United States due to the ratification of the 18th amendment to the United States Constitution, an era known as Prohibition. Purchasing alcohol was only legal with a medical prescription. At the time, many doctors believed spirits to be a cure for a wide variety of ailments. As such, the U.S. Government granted licenses to six distilleries to bottle medicinal whiskey: one of those distilleries was the George T. Stagg Distillery in Frankfort, KY. Known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery, it is the longest continually-operating distillery in America.

Old Stagg

Originally distilled in honor of the distillery's former owner, George T. Stagg, Old Stagg actually replaced O.F.C. Bourbon as the distillery's flagship label. Bottled at barrel proof, uncut, and unfiltered, Old Stagg inspired other barrel-proof bourbon labels like Stagg and George T. Stagg. According to the brand, Old Stagg delivers aromas of oaky vanilla with a sweet, mellow palate of smooth vanilla and leather.

Golden Wedding

Bottled at 107 proof, Golden Wedding is a rye whiskey that dates back to 1869. Produced by Schenley Distilling at the Joseph S. Finch Distillery in Pennsylvania, Golden Wedding was physically bottled by both Schenley's and the George T. Stagg Distillery in Frankfort, Ky. during Prohibition. By the 1940s, production of Golden Wedding had been moved to Canada, and by the 20th century, it would cease to exist - until now. The brand says spirit carries heavy rye spice on the nose with a grainy, herbal palate boasting dill pickle notes and a smokey finish with a hint of banana.

Three Feathers

Three Feathers' roots stretch as far back as 1812 when it was initially advertised as a luxurious sipping rye, before it was transformed into a bonded whiskey and later a blended whiskey. Envisioned by Buffalo Trace master distiller Drew Mayville, the Prohibition Collection's recreation of the historic whiskey is bottled-in-bond at 100 proof with vanilla and charred oak aromas, a tropical and stone fruit palate, and caramel and cocoa finish.

Walnut Hill

Distilled to 90 proof, Walnut Hill is a high-rye bourbon that the brand says conveys citrus aromas and a smokey, woodsy palate with sweet molasses. The spirit celebrates the bourbon of the same name that was produced at the distillery during Prohibition with oversight handled by Albert Blanton himself, the distillery's then president.

George T. Stagg Distillery Spiritus Frumenti

Coming in at 110 proof, George T. Stagg Distillery Spiritus Frumenti is the booziest of the Prohibition Collection's offerings. Literally translating from Latin to "spirit of the grain," Spiritus Frumenti was the generic name used to label medicinal whiskey during Prohibition. The brand says the wheated bourbon provides caramelized brown sugar aromas with a fruity, floral palate of cherry and oak with a vanilla and citrus finish.

W.L. Weller Full Proof Bourbon

Bottled at the same 114 proof the spirit was when it entered into the barrel, this non-chill filtered wheated bourbon forgoes chill filtration to preserve all the naturally occurring residual oils and flavors that occur during the distillation and aging process (potentially making it appear cloudy at cold temperatures). W.L. Weller 12 Year Old Bourbon

Made in homage to one of bourbon';s original aristocrats, W.L. Weller 12 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon continues to be crafted using Weller's wheated bourbon recipe. Aged for a minimum of 12 years, far longer than most wheated bourbons. This whiskey features aromas of creamy vanilla, caramel and molasses that gives way to notes of candied corn, ripe fruits, cocoa powder and dried fruits on the palate. As founding father of the bourbon industry, Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. left an indelible legacy. His dedication to distilling began at the close of the Civil War when he purchased O.F C. Distillery. There, he developed innovative techniques that are still in use today. Made by hand, this Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey has been aged inside century old warehouses constructed by E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrels are evaluated and selected to create a perfect blend of distinctive character that is like no other. This bourbon is a true sipping bourbon that honors the uncompromising legacy of E.H. Taylor, Jr.

Tastes of caramel corn sweetness, mingled with butterscotch and licorice. The aftertaste is a soft mouth-feel that turns into subtle spices of pepper and tobacco.

E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. is widely considered one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry, fighting for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, nearly three decades after he purchased what is now called Buffalo Trace Distillery. During his time, Taylor implemented several innovative methods still used today, including climate controlled aging warehouses. Many of the barrels selected for the E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel are aged in Warehouse C, which was built by Taylor in 1881 and proven to be an excellent aging warehouse. Each barrel is hand-picked and Bottled in Bond at 100 proof to honor its namesake.

The aroma carries lightly toasted oak, with dried figs and butterscotch. One sip brings flavors of sweetness balanced with tobacco and dark spices. The finish is just long enough to prepare the palate for another sip. The bottle itself is a likeness to Colonel Taylor's original design used over a century ago.

E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye

Straight Rye Whiskey has experienced a strong resurgence in the American whiskey landscape, yet Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. was making this style more than 100 years ago. This small batch, Bottled-in-Bond 100 proof straight rye whiskey pays tribute to the former Distillery owner with a unique rye whiskey reminiscent of days long past.

An altogether different recipe and profile than Sazerac Rye, this recipe contains just rye and malted barley, no corn. The result is an aroma full of dried fruit, black pepper, and a touch of fresh dill. A small sip brings an array of flavors both sweet and savory with a terrific balance of dark spices and subtle caramel overtones. The finish is especially pleasing with an oaky dryness that lingers just long enough.

E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof

Crafted from hand-selected barrels, this bourbon is bottled directly from the barrel; uncut and unfiltered at more than 125 proof. It reflects the way whiskey was produced in the days before Prohibition, when Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. was the owner of Buffalo Trace Distillery. Drawn from barrels aged in warehouses constructed over a century ago under Taylor's watchful eye, the taste is smooth, yet powerful and uncompromising, just like its namesake.

The aroma of cooked berries meets the nose, followed by a rich caramel and slightly floral smell. The taste is bold and full of spice that fills the mouth with a distinct flavor of toasty vanilla, dried oak and pepper. This Wheat Recipe Bourbon stands alone, a tribute to the legacy of America's oldest continually-operating distillery.
